Beauty and the Thieves

This beauty was hand painted - I'm assuming by the owner. We'll start the bidding at 1.99.

What no one wants to start the bidding on this work of art?

One of the most disturbing things about the second hand store is theft.

We got a large donation of crafts supplies, all in clear boxes. A lot of them we priced per box but we didn't think to tape them shut. Of course we found a box emptied of it's contents. These are the kind of crafts only elderly ladies want to do, so now every time a little old lady comes in I want to give her the evil eye.

We also had a pair of boots that someone in the management complained about. They were dirty and who put them on the floor? With no price tag! We figured out later that someone had exchanged their boots for new ones and just walked out in them.

Then there that old priceless gem, peel the sticker price that you want to pay off of something else and paste it over the existing price sticker trick.

Today a box was brought up to the front cash, empty of it's product.
Oh well, Truth be told it's all donated stuff anyway.
